Looking for some new inspiration using the Illusionary stamps France Papillon designed? All those creative ideas in my head... Some of them are just things I'm really looking forward in creating so I'm sure I will not forget them. And then there are those tiny details I think about... I just might forget about those so I write them down. Years ago on tiny little papers and I had heaps of them laying all around in the house. But I got tired of them so decided to make my own traveler's notebook. I bought a piece of leather and some notebooks, cut it all to the size I wanted and I was ready.
Zoveel ideeën in mijn hoofd... Sommige zitten veilig vast omdat ik er echt naar uit kijk om ze uit te werken. En dan zijn er die kleinere details die ik krijg of ideeën die nog moeten groeien... die zou ik wel eens uit het oog durven verliezen dus ik schrijf ze op. Vroeger op losse papiertjes die overal rond slingerden maar daar kreeg ik genoeg van dus besloot ik mijn eigen creatieve travelers notebook te maken. Ik kocht een stuk leder en enkele notitieboeken, sneed alles op de maat die ik wou en klaar ^.^
It was all black ( of course ^.^) until today. I had some playtime and created some less-is-more kind of covers for my journals. Just some color and some stamps that I needed on there as little personal reminders. Now to get all the creative inspiration in there ^.^
Alles in het zwart (natuurlijk) tot vandaag. Ik ging aan de slag en maakte een paar gewone less-is-more kaarten om op de buitenkanten van mijn notitieboekjes te kleven. Gewoon mijn ding: wat kleur en een paar stempels die ik wou als persoonlijke reminders. Nu alle creatieve brainstorming er in gaan zetten.
With the piece of leather that was left I made myself a little agenda that will get the same treatment: a pop of color and some beautiful stamps ^.^
I think I can't get any more organised: a bullet journal ( find post RIGHT HERE), a creative travelers notebook and a new agenda ^.^
Met het restje van mijn leder maakte ik mezelf nog een kleine agenda dat dezelfde behandeling gaat krijgen: wat kleur en enkele prachtige stempels, net zoals mijn bullet journal trouwens. Ik denk dat ik nu wel goed zit wat organisatie betreft: een bullet journal ( blogpost vind je HIER), een creatief travelers notebook en een agenda ^.^

If you could turn back time... how would today look like? Would it be the same, or would you change things in the past that makes today could look completely different. But be careful... it's not only the bad things that change... your changes might just have its influence on the good things you have today too. Als je de klok kon terug draaien... hoe zou je dag vandaag er dan uit zien? Net hetzelfde als nu, of zou je dingen in je verleden aanpassen waardoor vandaag er helemaal anders zou uitzien? Voorzichtig... het zijn niet enkel de slechte dingen die veranderen, je wijzigingen hebben onrechtstreeks misschien wel een invloed op alle goede dingen in je leven ook.

This beautiful butterfly and those thoughtful words are Visible Image stamps. And the coloring is a combination of Derwent Inktense and my beloved watercolors.

There is something about closed eyes. They can hide so much. You can choose to close your eyes because you want to hide your feelings, you can close your eyes because you don't want to be part of something you see or actually close them to gather all your strength to face something your need to. Or you can just close your eyes to give you peace of mind, it can take you out of this world and give you a chance to calm down and relax...
Gesloten ogen... het heeft iets over zich. Ze kunnen zoveel verbergen. Je kan ervoor kiezen om je ogen te sluiten omdat je jou gevoelens wil verbergen, je kan je ogen sluiten omdat je ervoor kiest om dingen niet te zien, of je kan ze net sluiten om al je moed samen te rapen en dingen te trotseren die je wel onder ogen moet zien. Of je kan gewoon je ogen sluiten om je rust in je hoofd te geven, het kan je uit deze wereld zetten en je de kans geven om tot rust te komen...

Als je benieuwd bent naar de video of toch nog wil gaan hoppen ook al zijn de prijzen uitgedeeld...
Change is good no? It can be scary but sometimes you just have to jump in and make some changes in an effort to make something ... better I suppose?
You can choose to keep going with the flow, it feels secure and if everything is going smoothly why would you change something? But when you don't try...how will you ever find out if changing things can get you in an even better place than you already are?
With those thoughts in mind I took out my crafting supplies and my video camera to make a new video. Enjoy!
Ik vermoed dat verandering goed is? Het kan beangstigend zijn maar soms moet je er gewoon voor gaan en dingen veranderen in de hoop dat je iets verbeterd veronderstel ik.
Tuurlijk kan je kiezen om gewoon met de stroming mee te blijven gaan, het voelt veilig en als alles vlot gaat waarom zouden we dingen veranderen? Maar als je het niet probeert... hoe weet je dan of verandering je niet op een betere plaats brengt dan je nu al bent?
Met die gedachten in mijn achterhoofd nam ik mijn knutselspullen uit de kast en de video camera om een nieuwe video te maken. Veel plezier!
It probably is no surprise when I say that I just love this stamp set...
Het is echt geen verrassing als ik zeg dat ik helemaal gek ben van deze stempelset.
I didn't use it on today's project but it was in my mind when I went and had some relaxing fun with the Shadow skull stencil. Those words...just keep coming back inside my mind ^.^
So first I started out using my Inktense pencils and some watercolors. Just by tracing the stencil and having some fun coloring I ended up with this very simple tag. But yet .. I love how it turned out. Ik gebruikte het niet op mijn project vandaag maar het zat wel in mijn achterhoofd toen ik gewoon wat plezier had met de Shadow skull stencil. De woorden blijven gewoon in mijn achterhoofd zitten ^.^ Als we het hebben over ontspannen dan hebben we het over aquarelverfjes en ik nam er ook mijn Inktense potloden bij. En dan gewoon het stencil omlijnen met de potloden en gaan ontspannen bij het kleuren en blenden... Een hele simpele tag maar voor mij persoonlijk gewoon een rustig en heerlijk moment met een resultaat waar ik blij van werd.
And then I wondered how it would look in a more mixed media version... So I layed down some texture in the stencil. And it might not be really very easy to see, but i have cut out the eye and the nose... I wanted some depth in those holes.
En toen werd ik wel benieuwd hoe het er uit zou komen te zien in een meer mixed media versie... Dus heb ik verschillende lagen textuur aangebracht in de stencil. En het is niet echt heel zichtbaar op de foto's maar het oog en de neusholte sneed ik er uit zodat mijn blauwe kleur iets dieper zou liggen.
And again... just pure relaxation and having fun. The same stencil but a completely different result...
En gewoon opnieuw relaxen en genieten. Net hetzelfde stencil maar een totaal ander resultaat...

So... sometimes people decide to change things... And I completely understand, change is necessary to be able to grow, to become better. But sometimes the little people are affected in a way that they don't get to grow out of these changes. If only the bigger ones get to grow out of these changes then that's a shame.
Youtube is changing its rules on monetization and loads of us little crafty youtubers are affected by it in the way that we get shut out while we try our best and take the youtube video's very serious.
So Justine Hovey came up with the idea to team up with each other and show everybody that we are here and want to stay there sharing our videos and would love to stay in the monetization program as we take this serious.
Soms... besluiten mensen om dingen te veranderen... En dat is natuurlijk heel goed te begrijpen, verandering is nodig om te kunnen groeien, om beter te worden. Maar soms zijn het de kleinere mensen die hierdoor zo geraakt worden dat ze de kans niet krijgen om te groeien. En als het enkel de grote zijn die de kans krijgen om te groeien door deze wijzigingen dan zit er iets niet goed.
Youtube heeft besloten om hun regels rond monetization te wijzigen waardoor veel van onze kleine hobby youtube kanalen uitgesloten worden terwijl we heel hard ons best doen en het maken van video's best wel serieus nemen.
Daarom kwam Justine Hovey met het idee om samen aan de slag te gaan en iedereen dat wij er wel degelijk zijn, heel video's graag willen blijven maken en ook heel graag deel willen blijven uitmaken van het monetization programma aangezien we het wel serieus menen.
It didn't stop there... a lot of wonderful lovely companies jumped in and offered to give away prizes and you hear it right: there is a giveaway EVERY SINGLE STOP. All you have to do is comment underneath the video to have a chance in winning. And you know what...the more you comment...the bigger the chance in winning a prize ;-)
Het stopte daar niet... heel veel prachtige bedrijven besloten om te sponseren met prijzen die kunnen gewonnen worden. En je hoort het goed als ik zeg: er is een give away BIJ ELKE VIDEO. Het enige wat jij moet doen om kans te maken op de prijs in de video is een reactie achterlaten. En hoe meer video's je bezoekt en er een reactie achterlaat hoe groter je jou eigen kansen maakt om te winnen ^.^
To stay in the monetization program we need to have 1000 subscribers so... please subscribe to the channels, even if they already have more then 1000 subscribers. When we see someone subscribe to our channel it's a confirmation that you appreciate us.
We also need to have 4000 hours of watched time. 4000 hours that are 240 000 minutes... that is A LOT if you know that we sometimes only have video's of 6 minutes or 10 minutes at the max. We do speed up things for you guys so you don't have to spend hours on our channels to get the inspiration we share. But that also means we need loads of people to come and watch our video's. So take a cup of tea or anything you fancy. Take a big pack of biscuits and just have our video's played to help us gain our 4000 hours of watch time.
What will I do?
Tell me...what would you love to see more of or what would you love me to show and share to help you out? I'll try and do my best while staying true to my style. Now keep in mind... I don't have all products. That's what this monetization comes in. the money I would make out of this channel would go back in by buying products you want to see.
Wat kan je doen?
Om in het monetization programma te kunnen blijven wordt er gevraagd dat we 1000 volgers hebben... dus abonneer je op de kanalen, zelfs al hebben ze al meer dan 1000 volgers. Elke keer we zien dat iemand zich abonneert op ons kanaal geeft dat aan ons de boodschap dat je waardeert wat we delen.
Er wordt van ons ook gevraagd dat we 4000 uren aan bekeken video tijd hebben. 4000 uren dat zijn 240 000 minuten en dat zijn er HEEL VEEL. Zeker als je weet dat we in de filmpjes alles versnellen tot filmpjes van 6 tot ongeveer 10 minuten maximum zodat jullie geen uren kwijt zijn aan de inspiratie die we met jullie delen.. Dat wil wel zeggen dat we heel veel mensen nodig hebben die komen kijken naar onze filmpjes. Dus ik zou zeggen: neem er gezellig een tas koffie bij of eender wat je graag wil. Neem er een lekker groot pak met lekker bij en laat onze filmpjes gezellig afspelen om aan die 4000 uren te komen.
Wat kan ik doen?
Zeg het mij... wat zouden jullie graag vaker zien of wat willen jullie graag dat ik laat zien om jullie verder te helpen? Ik beloof dat ik mijn best zal doen om daaraan tegemoet te komen in mijn eigen stijl. Hou er wel rekening mee dat ik niet al het hobbymateriaal heb dat er bestaat ^.^ Net daar komt de monetization in beeld aangezien het kleine beetje dat het maken van video's opbrengst integraal naar het aankopen van materiaal zou gaan waarmee terug nieuwe video's kunnen gemaakt worden.

How I love to go through my box of Visible Image stamps and search for some stamps to make a special card. Today's card...for someone who could use a little reminder that (s)he is beautiful just as (s)he is and not out there on it's own...
I have taken out some time to show how I color in the beautiful seahorse from visible Image too. I love coloring it in using my watercolors but I took out my Derwent Inktense pencils for this one ^.^
Ik vind het heerlijk om in mijn doos met Visible Image stempels te zoeken naar stempels die ik kan samenbrengen om dat ene speciale kaartje te maken. En vandaag is dat een kaartje om iemand eraan te herinneren hoe mooi en speciaal hij/zij wel is en er helemaal niet alleen voor staat... Ik heb wat tijd genomen in mijn video om jullie te laten zien hoe ik het prachtige zeepaardje kleur van Visible Image. Ik grijp meestal altijd naar mijn aquarelverfjes om in te gaan kleuren maar in dit filmpje ga ik aan de slag met mijn Derwent Inktense potloden ^.^
