A first little project with this Fibonacci stamp from me is this little clip board. I thought it was just perfect and I'm happy to be able to use it just as it is as I just love this design!
Een eerste projectje met deze Fibonacci stempel is dit kleine klembord. Ik vond het perfect en ik ben eigenlijk ook blij dat ik hem gewoon helemaal in zijn eentje kon verwerken zonder een deel van de lijnen te hoeven wegsteken.

Escape...everyone sometimes need to...
Escape from people, escape from situations, escape from lies or even escape the truth...
Ontsnappen... iedereen heeft daar ooit wel eens nood aan... Ontsnappen van mensen, ontsnappen uit situaties, ontsnappen aan leugens en zelfs aan de waarheid...
But you can't escape if you are not opening your mind for new beginnings. It might not be as easy as writing it down here, depending on what you have to leave behind.
Maar je ontsnapt nooit helemaal als je jou hoofd niet openstelt voor nieuwe dingen. En ik weet het, afhankelijk van wat je moet achterlaten is het niet altijd even makkelijk als het hier even neer te pennen.
Those stars might not be as bright as they should be, but give it time and believe that those wings will show you their true color.
De sterren zijn niet altijd even helder als ze zouden moeten zijn, maar geef het tijd en geloof er in dat die vleugels uiteindelijk hun echte kleur zullen laten zien.
Those stamps from Visible Image... they all make it so easy to put down so many of my thoughts.

Many people are looking forward to Christmas and New Year's eve. And why not, they are supposed to be lovely evenings shared with our loved ones. But sadly enough so many people also miss a lot of people on those days. Because they are (far) away due to obligations, or not being able to get together or even more sadly because they have passed away. And when it's your first Christmas without that loved one...I can tell you that are hard and sad times.
But that doesn't mean we can't think of them, or think of all those special memories that keep them alive inside our heart.
So I made this altered bottle using the beautiful Visible Image stamps...
Veel mensen kijken al hard uit naar Kerst en Nieuwjaar. En waarom ook niet,dat zouden dagen moeten zijn die je doorbrengt met iedereen die je dierbaar zijn. Jammer genoeg zijn er ook heel veel mensen die net op die dagen iemand moeten missen. Omdat ze door verplichtingen vast zitten, omdat ze niet in staat zijn om bij elkaar te geraken of omdat ze jammer genoeg overleden zijn. En als het jou eerste kerst is zonder die speciale dierbare...ik kan je vertellen dat dat heel hard is. Dat neemt niet weg dat we niet aan ze denken, of alle dierbare herinneringen kunnen herleven die hen net levend houden diep in ons hart. Met die gedachte maakte ik deze bewerkte fles met de prachtige stempels van Visible Image...
I have laid down the stars using golden metal foil... my beloved stars are the brightest on the nights sky after all.
De sterren heb ik aangebracht in gouden metaalfolie... mijn sterren aan de hemel zijn tenslotte de meest blinkende sterren die er zijn.
And what would we be without some hope. My hope to see them again whenever time want's me to...
En wat zouden we zijn zonder hoop. Mijn hoop dat ik hun ooit toch ergens terug zie als de tijd het mij toelaat...
I also went ahead and made a little card to go with the bottle as these words just say it all. But you can go and just sent it to share a little bit of love with someone of which you know that Christmas will be a hard time this year.
Ik maakte ook deze kaart die er perfect bij hoort door de mooie tekst. Maar je kan deze tekst perfect maken om gewoon naar iemand te sturen die het op deze dagen moeilijk heeft.

It has been a while since I shared something from my Breathe art
journal. Sometimes I feel the need to create in it more than other moments.
Today I do want to share a video I made some months ago but didn't share
here yet.
It's a page that has so many hidden messages what makes it one of my
most meaningful pages in my journal. I hope you enjoy the video...
Het is al een hele tijd geleden dat ik nog een pagina uit mijn Breathe journal deelde. Soms heb ik meer nood om daarin te werken dan op andere momenten.
Vandaag deel ik graag een video die ik een hele tijd geleden maakte maar hier nog niet deelde. Het is een pagina dat zoveel verschillende elementen heeft met betekenis voor mij waardoor het een van de meest waardevolle pagina's is. Ik hoop dat jullie de video leuk vinden...
If you wonder how I got these rusted metals... just natural rust and
it's as easy as can be.
Als
je benieuwd bent hoe ik de geroeste metalen rondelen kreeg... gewoon natuurlijk
roest en het is zo makkelijk te krijgen.
To start I try to put some dents into my metal. Not very easy but I bang
on it using a hammer, lay them down on some rough stones and scratch them by
moving them around using my foot.
Then it's time to give them a bath... and a second one that is made of
pure white vinegar. You can dilute it down to half water-half vinegar if you
want to reduce the smell. When they have been in there for a couple of
hours or overnight you can take them out. You'll see them turn black, other
metals don't change colour, that depends on the metal.
While they are still wet throw some regular table salt
on top of them. As little or as much as you want. The more you put on, the
better your metals will be "eaten" and rust.
Om
te beginnen probeer ik altijd wat krassen en deuken in mijn metaal aan te
brengen. Niet altijd even makkelijk maar ik sla er op met een hamer of leg ze
op ruwe stenen en kras ze erover heen met mijn voet.
Dan
even afwassen en daarna gaan ze in een bad met puur witte wijnazijn. Je kan het
voor de helft verdunnen met wat water als je de geur wat wil dempen. Laat hen
er een paar uren of tijdens de nacht in liggen voor je ze er uit haalt. Je zal
zien dat sommigen verkleurd zijn, niet elk metaal reageert hetzelfde.
Nu
ze nog nat zijn gooi je er gewoon tafelzout over. Je kan kiezen hoeveel zout je
er op gooit. Hoe meer zout, hoe meer je metaal wordt "aangevreten" en
hoe meer roest je krijgt.
Give it another couple of hours or leave it overnight
again. And there it is…beautiful rust. If you wipe your metals
however you’ll see you can still remove a lot of the rust. So either you seal
it with a varnish or you just go and repeat these two steps again. Don’t be
scared, the vinegar will take away all the rust but when you give it a second
batch of salt it returns. You can go and repeat these steps as much as you want
until you are happy with the results. I only do these steps twice and finish
off by removing some of the salt I have put down in the end. Then I lay
them outside a couple of days when it’s raining. And you’ll see how beautifully
the rusting really gets.
Laat het
zout er opnieuw een paar uren of een nachtje op liggen. En daar is het: prachtig
roest. Als je echter over je metaal wrijft zal je zien dat het roest voor een
groot deel weg kan gehaald worden. Dus je kan er voor kiezen om het nu gewoon
te beschermen met een laagje vernis uit een spuitbus bijvoorbeeld of je kan de
stappen gewoon even herhalen. Niet schrikken als je ziet dat je roest verdwijnt
als je het in het azijnbad legt. Als je er later opnieuw zout op gooit komt het
gewoon terug. Je kan deze stappen nog vaker herhalen maar ik stop na twee
beurten. Daarna kies ik er echter voor om mijn metaal nog even in de regen
buiten te leggen met deze geroeste metalen als gevolg.
All that is left now is creating ^.^ If you try it out...let me know on any of my social media, I would love to see what you create.
Het enige wat je nu nog moet doen is creatief aan de slag gaan ^.^ Als je het uitprobeert, geef dan zeker eens een gil op mijn sociale media, ik zie heel graag wat jullie allemaal maken.

I love to pimp up objects and when finding this little wooden tool box I immediately knew what I wanted to do. Sand of the text that was on it, give it a new coat of white paint and stamp it with Visible Image stamps ^.^
Ik hou er van om objecten een beetje aan te passen en aan te kleden aan mijn eigen stijl. En toen ik dit houten boxje zag in de Action wist ik meteen wat ik wou gaan doen. Ik heb de tekst die er op stond er af geschuurd, een nieuw laagje verf erover en dan aan de slag met mijn Visible Image stempels ^.^
The original text was to big to put on the front but leaving the 'now' off still gives you a beautiful reminder. A new month so that means... a new challenge over at Visible Image and this time it's...
Er is een nieuwe maand gestart dus dat wil zeggen...een nieuwe uitdaging bij Visible Image en deze keer is het...
Dimension... does it surprise you that I LOVE this challenge ^.^
So I don't have to hurt my brain to much to go and create for this challenge. In fact I can already share an "older" project that you might not have seen earlier. That is if you didn't read last month's Craft Stamper as it's been published in it. Some of my Visible Image teamies and I went and had some fun with the Visible Image monoliths...
Structuur...het verwondert jullie vast en zeker niet dat ik deze uitdaging GEWELDIG vind ^.^
Daar hoef ik ook niet echt heel hard over na te denken wat ik zou kunnen maken. Ik kan jullie zelfs al een "ouder" project laten zien dat ik maakte en jullie misschien nog niet zagen. Tenminste, als jullie het magazine Craft stamper van vorige maand niet gelezen hebben aangezien het daarin gepubliceerd werd. Enkele van mijn DT vrienden en ikzelf hebben ons uitgeleefd op de Visible Image monoliths...

I loved making this structured base...
Ik vond het super om deze structuur aan te brengen op mijn basis...
And I kicked the roughness back by using soft elements such as the beautiful closed eyes of the 'Face it ' stamps and the fragile words from the 'Life can be tough' stamp.
En tegenover zoveel structuur wou ik heel graag zachtere elementen plaatsen zoals de prachtige gesloten ogen uit de 'Face it' set en de fragiele woorden van de 'Life can be tough' stempel.
Last week I even shared this youtube tutorial showing a fun technique to add extra texture in your background...
Vorige week deelde ik trouwens ook dit filmpje waarbij ik een hele leuke techniek liet zien om texturr in je achtergrond te krijgen...
Now don't wonder off to far, I'll be back tomorrow with a new project where I have used dimension while using these NEW beauties...
Niet te ver weg gaan. Ik ben er morgen al terug met een nieuw project waar ik wat dimensie heb aangebracht en deze prachtige NIEUWE sets heb gebruikt...
After sharing my home stamped candle last week I'm back with another gift inspiration again using the fabulous Visible Image stamps. No candle but... little post-it notebooks.
I started out by cutting some cardboard to size and made a little holder using some hand colored paper and some plain cardstock. I glued my stacks of sticky notes into it so I could easily work on them.
Na het delen van mijn hand gestempelde kaars vorige week laat ik ook deze week graag wat inspiratie zien om kleine handgemaakte cadeautjes te maken. En natuurlijk gebruikte ik hiervoor opnieuw Visible Image stempels ^.^ Ik begon met wat karton op maat te snijden van mijn post it blokjes. Die stukjes werden omgezet in houdertjes met zelf gekleurd papier of gewoon cardstock. Daarna kleefde ik mijn post it notitieblokjes er in zodat ik er makkelijk verder op kon werken.
En then came the fun part: choosing what stamps I wanted to use. I made 3 different ones using all kind of different Visible Image stamp sets...
En toen kwam het leukste deel: kiezen welke stempels ik zou gaan gebruiken. Het werden er een heleboel verschillende ...
Of course you can go ahead and use other Visible Image stamp sets and if you do, please feel free to share them in the Facebook group. I would love to see them.
