Wie heeft er zin in een uitdaging? Ik ging alvast aan de slag en ik zou het super vinden mocht je meedoen. Zomaar, gewoon voor het plezier en het maakt niet uit wat je maakt, een kaart, een tag, een art journal pagina of een mixed media stuk of...
Ik filmde hoe ik een  nieuwe pagina maakte voor mijn persoonlijke art journal Breathe...

What it's all about?  As you could see in the video above: I challenge you to use something old-new-borrowed-blue and create whatever you want. You can fill in each part exactly as you want yourself too. No rules, just have fun.
Then put your project online using the hashtag #SONBBchallenge for everybody to find it and see your beautiful project. If you don't want to share it online you can always send me an e-mail ( link at the right side bar of this page)

Wat houdt de challenge in? Zoals je kon zien in de video bovenaan: ik daag jullie uit om iets oud-nieuw-geleend-blauw te gebruiken om iets te maken wat jij graag wil maken. Je kan elk deeltje invullen zoals je zelf wil. Geen regels, gewoon plezier hebben.
Plaats dan je project online met de hashtag #SONBBchallenge zodat iedereen je prachtige project makkelijk terugvind. Ben je niet klaar om je challenge online te plaatsen mag je mij altijd een mail sturen, je vindt de link bovenaan rechts op de pagina terug.

Breathe...

Sometimes when you see something there immediately pops an idea into your head and you can't wait to go ahead and give in to that idea. So I was very happy when the stencils from Visible Image arrived here at home. Yes you are reading it right: stencils from Visible Image ^.^
And of course I filmed my first play with the stencils ...

Soms zie je iets en meteen gaat er een klik om in je hoofd, krijg je een idee, en kan je niet wachten om dat idee uit te werken. Ik was dan ook heel blij toen de nieuwe stencils van Visible Image hier aankwamen. En ja, je leest het goed, Visible Image bracht ook stencils uit ^.^
Mijn eerste projectje met de stencils heb ik ook maar meteen gefilmd...

That tiny spot in between the strobes is just perfect to put tiny elements in and get them in the spotlight. Keep an eye out because I still have loads of ideas for this stencil ^.^

Dat plekje tussen de stralen is perfect om een klein elementje te plaatsen en het zo in de spotlight te zetten. Jullie zien hier zonder twijfelen nog ideetjes langskomen met dit stencil ^.^

I have another video to share ^.^ A while ago I altered some Visible Image monoliths to send to Helen and Mark for their Create and Craft shows on the American and English TV. And while I altered one of them I had it all filmed. I finally came around to edit it and I today I can share it with all of you.
The nice thing about these monoliths is that they have two sides so you can go and make two different projects and turn them around to see what ever you want to see depending on how you feel that day :-)
This monolith has one side where there is the skull and even though I have the same colors going on on the back, I have put a beautiful butterfly on the other side with an even beautiful quote for days when I feel a bit nicer ^.^

Ik heb een nieuwe video klaar ^.^ Een tijdje geleden bewerkte ik een paar Visible Image monoliths om naar Helen en Mark op te sturen voor hun Create and Craft shows op de Amerikaanse en Engels TV. En toen ik één van die monoliths aan het bewerken was heb ik er de camera boven gehangen. Ik vond eindelijk tijd om de video te bewerken en vandaag kan hij ook online.
Het leuke aan dez emonoliths is dat ze twee kanten hebben en je kan dus twee totaal verschillende projecten maken en hem gewoon ronddraaien naar de kant die je wil zien die dag ^.^
Deze monolith heeft een schedel aan de ene kant, en hoewel ik met dezelfde kleuren aan de slag ging aan de achterkant, staat er daar een vlinder en een mooie quote op voor die dagen dat ik iets liever ben ^.^

Trust your madness...

Here we are again and yes, I have another video for you ^.^ When I got the Visible Image stamp 'Trust your madness' home I immediately knew I wanted to create something telling me that I have to trust my darker more evil thoughts too. A lot of times they are build on the truth. It had been a long long time since I had taken out the Andy Skinner stencil skullduggery so this was the perfect moment.

Hoi, hier zijn we weer en ja hoor, ik heb terug een video voor jullie ^.^ Toen ik de Visible Image stempel 'Trust your madness' thuis kreeg wist ik dat ik er iets mee wou maken dat me er aan herinnerde dat ik mijn zwartere, stoutere gedachten ook mocht vertrouwen. Heel vaak steunen die gedachten immers op waarheden. Het was al heel lang geleden dat ik nog eens met de Andy Skinner stencil Skullduggery had gewerkt dus die heb ik maar eens uit de doos gehaald. 

I want to say thanks to everyone who started following my You tube channel and everyone giving my video's a like or commented on them. They are very much appreciated ^.^

Ik wil ook graag iedereen bedanken die zich aboneerde op mijn you tube kanaal en aan iedereen die de video's een like gaf of een berichtje achter liet. Die worden heel erg gewaardeerd ^.^

Zin in een workshop?

I'm happy to share the first workshop I will be giving at the shop In 't Woefke 7th february.
It 's a workshop where we will play with all different kinds of inks ( dylusions, distress, twinkling H2O's...) and we will create mixed media"aquarelled" cards.
And of course we will use stamps but I had to use a little texture paste also ^.^
We'll be making 3 cards...curious?


Ik ben blij om te kunnen verklappen dat ik op zaterdag 7 februari mijn eerste workshop geef bij In 't Woefke. Het wordt een workshop waarbij we aan de slag gaan met allerlei verschillende inkten ( denk maar aan dylusions, distress, twinkling H2O, zigpennen,...) en daarmee gaan we "aquareleren" Natuurlijk combineren we die met stempels en ik haal er ook een beetje structuurpasta bij ^.^ 
We maken drie kaarten...benieuwd geworden?

 We beginnen met een kleine kennismaking 

met de inkt en de structuurpasta.

En aangezien het bijna valentijn is dan...

We gaan natuurlijk nog even verder met de structuurpasta,

de vlinder komt dus in 3D op je kaart te staan...

En aangezien we dan toch al wat voeling hebben 

met de inkt gaan we verder met...
